1. What do you enjoy most about working at Cicayda?

Team work! This is a group of people who are passionate about finding solutions for client needs and working as a team. We all have families and there is a true emphasis on work/life balance, that’s a hard balance to strike. The last few months have been disrupted and challenging for all of us, both personally and professionally. Despite these stresses, I have been proud of how our team has worked together to have continued success both at home and at work.

2. How did you get into legal technology?

I entered the legal technology field right out of college and was lucky enough to work with a team of brilliant and hard-working individuals on the processing side of e-discovery. Since beginning my career in legal technology, I have been lucky enough to work on several teams that offered either processing services or document review solutions. At Cicayda, we provide end to end services, which allows me to be part of the e-discovery process, from initial scoping, collections, processing, document review and through final delivery. It’s been amazing to work in this field over the last 17 years and to see the advancements that have been made over the years.

3. What do you enjoy most about being a Project Manager in eDiscovery?

We have a wide range of clients and they have a varying level of technical experience. While some are experienced users, others are using document review systems for the first time. Each of our matters is a slightly different and our clients present with different needs, from basic computer support to designing complex searches and involved review workflows. I enjoy providing support and solving problems for our clients to ensure that they have a great experience with Cicayda.
